Glasgow Girl Enterprises offers a wide range of educational services from kindergarten to adult levels utilizing Joann Gilmartin's personal background and experiences.

SCHOOLS and OTHER CHILDREN'S GROUPS

All of these sessions are interactive and may be combined to suit your requirements:

1. Book Readings. The adventures of Wee Billy are brought to life in an authentic brogue by the author.
2. Robert Burns Poetry. Joann teaches the poems and explains the language and meaning to the children.
3. Scottish Life. A lesson where life in Scotland is compared on an appropriate level to the lives of the participants.
4. Scottish Songs & Nursery Rhymes. A musical lesson where participants are taught the traditional songs.

ADULT SESSIONS

1. Robert Burns. The works of Scotland's most famous bard are explored in a unique and personal way with Joann, who won her first Burn's Competition at the age of five and has been immersed in his works ever since. Presentation includes the illustration of Burn's works in word and song.
2. Wallace 700. In 2005, the Scottish nation paid tribute to William Wallace and celebrated the return of his spirit to be laid to rest in his beloved country. Joann was honored to be invited to sing the Scottish National Anthem at the Service. This is a very personal presentation of the laying to rest Ceremonies that were held in Lanark, Scotland.

Special topics relating to Scottish culture, history and traditions are also available by request.

Please email for further details of this service.
